eTech Board

The eTech Board provides oversight and guidance for the eTech initiative. The Board’s key functions include:

  • Provide guidance on the eTech Initiative’s strategic focus
  • Quarterly budget and project reviews
  • Provide input on funding decisions

The eTech Board is composed of the following campus representatives:

  • Chief Information Officer: Kian Colestock
  • Vice Provost for Teaching & Learning: Michael Dennin
  • OIT eTech Director: Jeremy Thacker
  • Campus Student Fee Coordinator: Katherine Warnke-Carpenter
  • Executive Director of IT Finance: Cory Smith
  • ASUCI Academic Affairs Vice President Representative (student designee): Shreyas Vasist Chandramouli

The board regularly collaborates with campus partners and subject matter experts, including faculty, the Division to Teaching Excellence and Innovation, the Budget Office, and others, in executing its duties.

Office of Information Technology

The Office of Information Technology provides day-to-day operational and financial management for the eTech Initiative, under the direction of the eTech Director. Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting of an annual operating plan and budget recommendation
  • Facilitation of the Funding Request Process
  • Approval of routine instructional technology expense
